According to Sergey Galyonkin's number crunching, GTA 5, Cities: Skylines, Rocket League and Early Access titles Ark: Survival Evolved, Besiege and H1Z1 have all sold over 1 million copies since March of this year.

Cities: Skylines being on the list is no surprise, considering it's the fastest selling title in Paradox Interactive's history, and moved 250,000 copies in its first 24 hours of availability and within a week easily sailed past 500,000 units. By April, it had sold over 1 million copies.

Early Access title Ark: Survival Evolved also moved over 1 million copies during its first few weeks of availability.

Galyonkin also noted posted six other titles which have sold well over 500,000 copies through Steam since he started tracking the figures this year: Dying Light, Stranded Deep, Killing Floor 2, Total War: Attila, Pillars of Eternity, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

He noted that since CD Projekt RED owns GOG, all retail PC copies were activated on its service, which is why the figures for The Witcher 3 may seem low, especially when you factor in the game has sold over 6 million units worldwide on all available platforms.

These are some rather nice figures, and they will only grow larger as the year wears on. Plus, there are numerous other titles coming out from now through the holidays and figures for Mad Max and Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain have yet to be figured in.

You can look over the data he complied through the Steam Spy website.
