We're headed for summer and that can only mean one thing. It's time for PlayStation Store's Mid Year sale.

Sun's out, guns out. Or sword. 'Whatever your preferred method of delivering carnage' out, is my point. Summer is here (ish) and the PlayStation Store is giving you a great excuse to stay indoors out of those harmful UV rays. It's the Mid Year sale on the PlayStation Store, and you'll find all manner of quality AAA titles available for a pittance.

The Mid Year sale promotion is only in the North American store, and there's up to 75% off PS4, PS3, PSP, and PS Vita games for PS Plus members, and up to 50% off for everyone else.

There are some stonking deals in there, like Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year Edition for $6, and The Last of Us: Left Behind for $5. If you've been thinking about jumping onto the Final Fantasy 14 bandwagon, you can nab the Online Starter Edition for $12.

If you're looking for some discounted PSVR games, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood is only $10, and PlayStation VR Worlds is less than half price at $18.

Over on the PS Vita, there's Gravity Rush for $7, Tales of Hearts R for $11, and a bunch of other bargains that'll make you glad you kept hold of your handheld.

The sale kicked off yesterday and is running for two weeks. So you have plenty of time to peruse and purchase before it draws to a close on July 11 8AM PT/ 11AM ET.
