Red Dead Redemption 2 Landmarks Of Riches Treasure Location

Here’s how to find the treasure at the Mount Shann sundial.

When Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on PC, it brought the same rootin-tootin action as the console versions - plus extra content in the form of new treasure hunts.

One of these is called the Landmarks Of Riches Treasure Hunt, and it was later added to the PlayStation and Xbox versions with the Moonshiners update. In this guide we’ll be detailing the exact locations you need to visit to get ahold of the treasure.



How to Start the Landmarks Of Riches Treasure Map Quest in RDR2

The Landmarks Of Riches treasure hunt will take you all over the first map, from Strawberry, to Saint Denis. To start the Landmarks Of Riches Treasure hunt in Red Dead Redemption 2, head to the location shown on the map below:

Once you are there, you are looking for a hill with a pointy structure at its peak. Interact with this structure to get the treasure map.

Landmarks Of Riches Map 1 Location

The first location that we will be visiting for Landmarks Of Riches is the very tiny church to the east of Lakay. This area can be found by travelling to Saint Denis and heading north. We’ve included the Red Dead Redemption 2 location in the screenshot below.

Once you are there, you can climb up onto the Church’s roof to find the next map.

Landmarks Of Riches Map 2 Location

Next up, we’re going to head to the Mysterious Hill Home in Red Dead Redemption 2. This can be found to the east of Donner Falls. Just climb up onto the building and look for a boarded up window. You’ll be able to reach in and grab another map.

Landmarks Of Riches Map 3 Location

You’ll notice on the Red Dead Redemption 2 map that there is a cannon firing at a tree. This refers to Bolger Blade, which is the site of a Civil War battle. This area can be found slightly east of Braithwaite Manor over in Rhodes. Head to the field, and look for a slight hill with a larger tree on it.

Landmarks Of Riches Map 4 Location

Finally, it’s off to the sundial at the top of Mount Shann. This area can be found north of Strawberry in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Just follow the mountain path up to the top. You’ll see a rock formation sticking out of the ground. Interact with this sundial to claim the reward.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Landmarks Of Riches Reward

The Landmarks Of Riches treasure hunt has you darting around a huge area of the Red Dead Redemption 2 map. The rewards are worth it however, as you’ll get yourself 6 Gold Bars for your troubles. These sell for $500 a piece, so that’s $3000 in total.
