Nintendo Land attractions Metroid Blast and Balloon Fight Breeze details leaked

Nintendo Land attractions, Metroid Blast and Balloon Fight Breeze, have escaped early out of the next issue of Game Informer.

The unannounced areas where first revealed over on NeoGAF before being picked up by IGN and Nintendo Life.

Metroid Blast features fiver-player co-op gameplay, large-scale enemies, and music from the Metroid series, a Norfair level, and a mechanical replica of Kraid which players can interact with.

In co-op, one player takes on the role of Samus' ship using the Wii U GamePad, while the other four players will use Wii MotionPlus controllers and nunchuks. Mode Free-for-All, Team and Horde are featured across several maps, and the gameplay is reminiscent of the Battle Mii' Wii U demo shown at E3 2011.

Balloon Fight Breeze is a side-scroller which makes use of the stylus and GamePad touch screen.

Characters will go through a set of obstacles using gusts of wind controlled by the stylus. The GamePad shows the player a close up of the player's Mii, and a wider look at the level is shown on the television screen.

Game Informer announced yesterday its October issue would contain an exclusive look at New Super Mario Bros. U, as well as an extensive feature on Wii U, and an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka.

Nintendo is expected to announced a price and release date for Wii U on September 13.
