CS:GO Winter Offensive update adds new maps, Santa hats & more

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive developer Valve is rolling out the shooter's Winter Offensive update, complete with two new maps, community-created gun decals, Santa hats and much more.

The update was detailed over on the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive site, starting with two new maps for Operation Bravo players called Cobblestone and Overpass. Here they are:

There's also plenty of presents for everyone, in the form of Gift Packages, which give a random item to a random player in a match, the Pallet of Presents, which gives random gifts to nine random players in your match and finally the awesomely-titled Audience Participation Parcel, which gives random items to 25 spectators watching your match.

Valve is also giving away special cases containing gun decals and a whole lot more. Hit up the blog to see everything that's on offer.
