Devil May Cry is getting its own animated series on Netflix.
The executive producer of the Netflix Castlevania series, Adi Shankar, is developing an animated series based on Capcom’s Devil May Cry .
Shankar revealed the news in an interview with IGN and stated he personally acquired the rights to Devil May Cry so the “jabronis in Hollywood don’t fuck this one up too.”
The Castlevania series “really over-performed,” he told IGN, which led to him being able to attain the rights to DMC.
“It did crazy well. We immediately got greenlit for Season 3,” said Shankar of Castlevania. “I wouldn’t have a job if it wasn’t for the fans.”
After the report was published, Shankar took to Twitter to share the news.
