Survival sim This War of Mine: The Little Ones is coming to PS4 and Xbox One
11 bit Studios is bringing its popular survival sim This War of Mine to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with a new perspective.
This War of Mine: The Little Ones explores the "hardships of wartime survival" as seen from the perspective of a child.
It puts players in charge of a group of both adults and children trying to survive a besieged city with a lack of food and supplies. Making hard choices and sacrifices along the way, and making sure the children are protected and taken care of in the process.
This can involve finding a part to fix a broken toy for kids to play with in the daylight. Players will also need to console them at time, forming a important bond.
Along with this expanded version of original title, the PlayStation 4 edition also boasts an exclusive extra shelter known as the “Large Mansion."
It contains survivors the player must care for and how the "building is shaped, how many floors it has, how well it’s fortified and prepared as a potential hideout" will all have an influence on the core gameplay.
This War of Mine: The Little Ones is slated for release on January 29, 2016.
