Popular dinosaur survival title Ark: Survival Evolved has hit an impressive sales milestone.

Survival Evolved has shifted 1 million copies since launching on Steam Early Access a few weeks ago.

The indie project was built in collaboration with Epic Games, so that Studio Wildcard could offer mod support for the Unreal Engine-powered game. Gamasutra has plenty of information on that topic.

Let’s go back to talking about dinosaurs though. DINOSAURS! And related ancient creatures such as pterosaurs that some people become very upset over if you call them dinosaurs. I bet those people have never thought about riding over the tundra on a tyrannosaurus rex while their foes fled before them, and that’s why we’re not friends, and why they’ll one day find themselves running from Wrex, my mighty steed.
