Rift going free-to-play this weekend

Rift developer Trion Worlds is opening up its doors this weekend as the game will be free to anyone who owns a copy of the game already.
The announcement was made on Twitter this morning:
It comes as Trion is taking steps towards making Rift entirely free-to-play in June, so this could be considered as a little appetiser of what's to follow.
