EA has detailed changes to the Origin client coming in version 9.0. As well as a number of performance tweaks, the main meat of the change log is the ability to resize items in your library and a floating friends list – so mostly a cosmetic effort – but there’ll also be an in-client system clock so you don’t have to alt-tab to find out just how little sleep you’re going to get after a midnight Mass Effect 3 session. The new version will roll out over the next few days; if you opt into beta clients, you’ll be among the first to see it.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds servers have only officially gone live in certain parts of the world, but the majority go live later today or tomorrow morning.
