Blizzard confirms Diablo III beta

By Johnny Cullen, Sunday, 24 October 2010 01:37 GMT

Blizzard’s confirmed at Blizzcon there will be a beta for Diablo III.

Game director Jay Wilson told G4 there will be a closed beta, most likely for friends and family of Blizzard, but you can probably place a bet it will eventually open up.

Wilson also confirmed there won’t be any official mod support for the game when it releases.

There’s been a massive ton of news from Blizzcon this past weekend on D3, including the unveil of the final playable class in the game as well as PvP battles.

Wilson also confirmed earlier tonight the game “was “way over half-way” done.”

Despite that, there’s still no date for it.
