Report - Brad Pitt lined up for Red Dead Redemption movie

According to website ShowbizSpy, Brad Pitt is being lined up for the main role of John Marston in a movie version of Red Dead Redemption.

The actor has apparently been given first refusal to the role, according to the site, although it isn't said which studio is going to be behind the movie.

Rockstar has said the report is just a rumour, and hasn't mentioned anything about even optioning rights to a movie of the western.
