Platinum "would definitely be interested in" making Madworld 2

Speaking with ONM, Platinum Games developer Shigenori Nishikawa has admitted the studio is "interested" in making Madworld 2.

In an interview with the mag, he said: "I think MadWorld was very well received and was acknowledged for its innovative graphical style and gameplay. We would definitely be interested in making a sequel in the future."

While the game was most certainly critically "well received", it didn't too well saleswise.

In the March NPD last year, it was revealed the game only sold 66,000 units. The sales of the game, along with a poor showing from The Conduit, led Sega to admit last week they won't be developing mature games for the Wii anymore.
