It looks like Thief 4 (aka Thi4f) will have some sort of reveal on April 2, which is in five days, and right now we have a teaser for whatever that reveal is. In this instance, the teaser isn’t a complete waste of time, as it was made in-engine, apparently. Still, there’s very little here. Go inside for the 30-second clip.

CVs: Thief 4 to use Unreal 3, feature online functions
Several LinkedIn CVs posted on NeoGAF (via CVG) have shown Eidos Montreal is using Unreal Engine 3 for Thief 4, while other profiles suggest the use of online functionality. The term “online tools” is used one of the resumes. The series has remained primarily a single-player franchise up to now, and Eidos Montreal maintaining a singleplay-only stance for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. GAF has the full lot and more.
Despite the acknowledgement of its development, Thief 4 still hasn’t been shown. That should change this year, though. Hopefully.

Update: Apparently, according to Edios, there’s to be no Thief 4 reveal at E3, as it will be concentrating solely on Deus Ex: Human Revolution for the event – per Connected Consoles.
Nothing was said about an announcement before or after that though – not saying there will be either – just throwing that bit out there is all.
Thanks, Splatterhouse.
