I am Johnny Cullen. I am a Persona 4 fan. And I approve this video of Chie kicking ass in Persona 4: The Ultimate. The video is shot off-screen from a location test of the arcade version to help with balancing and other things with the fighter before it gets a widespread release next year. Get the video below, via The Gaming Vault, and look at Chie kicking the P4 protagonist’s butt (mostly).

The Arc Systems fighter launches on PS3 and 360 next year in Japan.

New Atlus teaser site hints at something Persona related

atlus teaser site

Atlus has opened a new teaser site in Japan, but not much else. The site contains the URL p-atlus.jp with a yellow background and Persona-style front. By the by, Persona 4 was heavy on the yellow. Are we about to see Persona 4 Portable announced? Considering the past three games in the series have now made their way to PSP – the second is releasing this fall in Europe via Ghostlight – we wouldn’t be surprised. We hope so anyways.

Thanks, Andriasang.

Persona 4 dated for US

December 9, 2008.

According to Destructoid – straight from the Shin Mega Ten panel at Anime Expo – that’s the day you’ll be kicking up dust all the way to your local game store for Persona 4. Or, you know, driving there, if that’s your preference.

Also, as if you needed any more motivation to snag the game, Persona 4’s soundtrack CD will be riding passenger with its namesake title – free of charge, no less – which is all kinds of awesome.

No word, however, on a release outside of Japan or the US.

So, we know where we’ll be on December 9. Do you?
