BioShock Infinite has been denied a fourth week at number one by NetherRealm’s superhero brawler, Injustice: Gods Among Us, which has hit the top spot in this week’s UK chart.

The Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us does not support content unlocks from the free iOS version, according to a report on Siliconera. Although it’s apparently missing this feature, supported by the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, the Wii U SKU does have off-screen play and a move list display for the Game Pad. NetherRealm’s latest is available now in Australia and the US and hits Europe on April 19.

Injustice: Gods Among Us is coming to iOS, and during GDC 2013, VG247′s Stephany Nunneley sat in on a demo session and bashed Solomon Grundy to bits with the iPad version.

Injustice: Gods Among Us will have a season pass on offer, which will allow owners obtain future DLC for the fighter at a discount – as with all season passes. It will run you 1200 MS Points/£10.28/€14.40/$15.00 on Xbox 360 and £11.99/$14.99 on PS3. A Wii U version of the season pass was not confirmed. The pass offers up future DLC characters plus the exclusive Flash Point Skin Pack with nifty garb for Aquaman, Deathstroke and Wonder Woman. The season pass will launch alongside the game on April 16 in the US and April 19 in the UK. Thanks, CVG.

Another playable character for Injustice: Gods Among Us has been announced by NetherRealm via a new trailer posted on Gamespot. It’s Deathstroke the Terminator, aka Slade Wilson, a mercenary and one of the main antagonists of the Titans. Simply known as Deathstroke now to the comic masses, he is considered a favorite villain by many DC Comics fans. Injustice: Gods Among Us is slated for a release on PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 in April 2013.
