Xbox 360 320 GB HDD comes with three games
Microsoft has announced a new 320GB HDD for the Xbox 360, which will launch in March in the US for $130. The add-on comes pre-loaded with three games – Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Ms. Splosion Man and Pinball FX2 with Sorcerer’s Lair. An Xbox.com product page has all the relevant details, but we haven’t heard anything about availability outside the US yet.

Latest PWND episode shows unseen footage of Need for Speed: Most Wanted
The latest episode of PWND is live and features new, unseen footage of Need for Speed: Most Wanted. In the episode, creative director Craig Sullivan also chats about the single player mode of the game, while Criterion vet Hamish Young recounts “the company’s past successes in the racing game genre,” and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. PlayStation Store gets major discounts on NFS Hot Pursuit, Dead Space 2, Crysis, more
Sony’s kicked off a January sale for the PlayStation Store, with some big discounts in play for the first week. Dead Space 2, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and Dante’s Inferno are all down to £20, with Burnout Paradise set at £15. All the games include all their respective DLC. Also included in the deal is Crysis for £9.99, Burnout Crash for £5.99 and NBA Jam: On Fire Edition for £7.99. There’s more offers, including DLC bundles and packs for Shift 2, Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age II on the EU PS Blog.

EA holding Xbox Live sale
EA’s holding a big January sale on Xbox Live, with games such as Dragon Age: Origins, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit getting discounts as part of the promo. Expired Online Pass codes found in new copies of EA games
A NeoGAF user has discovered that the EA Online Pass voucher in his brand new copy of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has expired, thus locking him out of the game’s multiplayer modes.

Online pass is “necessary for games,” insists Mortal Kombat creator
NetherRealm Studios head and Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has said that use of the online pass system is right for all games, including his gory fight franchise.

Second Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit patch in the works for PC
