Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z video features Hayashi and Inafune discussing development
A developer diary for Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is below, and features Team Ninja leader Yosuke Hayashi and concept lead, Keiji Inafune, discussing development of the game. The game is in the works between three developmental entities: Comcept, Spark Unlimited, and Team Ninja. In the video, Inafune and Hayashi talk about many things, along with the differences between development in Japan and the west – something which has been touched upon before by the team. Have a watch below. We’re still unsure of a release date or platforms, but we’ll know more come E3 next week.

Soul Sacrifice screenshots get you prepped for today’s beefy demo
The demo for Soul Sacrifice lands on the European end of the PS Store today, once the update goes live. To keep you sated until then, have a look at some screenshots below. You can find out all about the demo, and how your time with it transfers over to the full game through a previous post on the matter. The Vita exclusive arrived in the US on April 30 and in Europe on May 1.

Soul Sacrifice demo saves transfer to full game
The demo for Soul Sacrifice lands on the North American PS Store today, and tomorrow in Europe. Those who try the game out on their Vita will be able to save the data over to the full game when it releases. The demo includes the entire first chapter and is playable with up to three other friends via online or through ad-hoc multiplayer. If the demo save data is carried over to the full game, players will also receive an exclusive bonus item called “Spirits’ Heart” which summons a powerful stone golem to help you in battle. It’s only available through the demo, which will be pulled from the store on April 30 in NA when the game launches – you can still play it offline though, just not with any friends. The demo will be pulled from the EU end when the full game launches May 1.

Soul Sacrifice demo lands on PSN next week
A demo for Soul Sacrifice will land on PSN next week, it was announced on the PS Blog. You can pick it up off the store on April 16 in North America and on April 17 in Europe. You start off in the demo as a slave who is owned by a ruthless mage, and is to be sacrificed. The event is interrupted by a mysterious tome which gives you the ability to think and speak, and it goes from there. try it out yourself. The game is out on Vita April 30. Cancelled Mega Man FPS reboot Maverick Hunter detailed
The cancelled Mega Man shooter which was in the works Armature Studio has been revealed by sources close to Polygon. If you head on through the link, you will become privy to some screenshots and videos showing the “proof of concept build”. The game was purportedly canned once Keiji Inafune left Capcom in 2010, and neither Armature nor Capcom have yet to comment on the report. Go have a look at what might have been.
