Azure Striker Gunvolt is heading to Steam next week

2D side-scroller Azure Striker Gunvolt is heading to Steam.

Developed by Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune and studio Inti Creates for 3DS, the game will be released for PC next week on August 28 for $14.99.

Unlike the 3DS version modified for the west, the Steam version of the game includes original Japanese version. This means the braid and midriff are back. It will also come complete with Japanese voiceovers and mid-stage dialogue with English subtitles.

Other features coming to the PC version are two-screen play, eight language settings, a new Speedrun Mode and future updates are planned. The developer said new updates will arrive each month for the first six months of release.

A sequel to the game is currently in the works for 3DS.
