Mighty No. 9 backers demo delayed

The special backers demo for Mighty No. 9 has been delayed.

Mighty No. 9 continues to be more elusive as the months go by. The game was recently delayed to Q1 2016, with a promise that backers will get a demo in September.

The demo was supposed to launch September 15, which was two days ago.

With no apparent explanation, fans dug up a recent blog post on the game's website that talks about Kimokimo Cup Robot Design Contest, with only a single paragraph at the end announcing the delay.

"Finally, we know that all of our fans are looking forward to the Special Demo Version we are preparing, and we just ask that you be a little more patient," it reads.

"The team is working on it, but some issues popped up regarding the distribution method so there is a good chance it will not be ready to launch by the 15th. We are really sorry for the inconvenience."

Needless to say, fans are not happy. The most recent Facebook post on the company's page is full of frustrated comments from backers.
