The latest Humble Weekly Sale stars Arcen Games, and includes four pieces of the developer’s back catalogue for whatever you care to pay: Tidalis, A Valley Without Wind, A Valley Without Wind 2, and AI War: Fleet Command, which includes all five DLC packs. If you cough up more than $5.80, you’ll also score newer released Shattered Haven and the brain-melting Skyward Collapse along with its brand new expansion Nihon no Mura. All titles come with soundtracks, and all are cross-platform for Mac and PC. As ever, proceeds are split at your discretion between developer, charity and organisers.

Indie Royale and Arcen Games have released the Arclight Bundle, which starting at $5.43 nets you PC and Mac keys on Steam and Desura for: A Valley Without Wind, A Valley Without Wind 2, Shattered Haven, Tidalis, and AI War: Fleet Command. The later contains all four expansions released, and promises the fifth – the upcoming Vengeance of the Machine available in beta and playable for bundle owners. If you pay $8 or more you will also get nine original soundtracks by Arcen composer Pablo Vega along with the Deorbit album from Disasterpeace. Skyward Collapse, the turn-based 4X god-sim from Arcen Games, is out today on Mac and PC, and the developer sent over some screenshots and a new trailer for it. The game can be picked up through the official website, Steam, and other distributors. Brenna has been playing the preview build, and as soon as she returns from her much needed vacation, she’ll have some detailed impressions. Earlier today she told me it’s “sort of like playing chess against yourself, only you’re always a total bastard”. Awesome.

Indie developer Arcen Games has put its highly varied catalogue on sale on Steam. Save 75% this week on Shattered Haven; A Valley Without Wind 1 & 2 Pack; Tidalis; AI War; all four AI War expansions; the AI War Alien Bundle; and all bundles. There’s probably something for everyone but shooter fans in there; get in before April 22 to capitalise. In addition, AI War is part of the GamersGate’s IndieFort Spring Bundle. Arcen Games told us that the sale and bundle are important because the team has already moved on to two new projects – Skyward Collapse and Exodus of the Machine.

Arcen Games’ latest, Shattered Haven, has gone into beta, meaning everyone who pre-orders will now have access to the latest build. The $10 top-down survival adventure title is 25% off during its beta period, which will run until March 18, when version 1.0 is due to launch. A Valley Without Wind is a rather lovely indie title from Arcen Games. It’s a Metroid-vania platform title with retro visuals and tons of weapons. It’s getting a sequel, and if you already own the original, you get the new game for free.
