Indie developer Arcen Games has put its highly varied catalogue on sale on Steam. Save 75% this week on Shattered Haven; A Valley Without Wind 1 & 2 Pack; Tidalis; AI War; all four AI War expansions; the AI War Alien Bundle; and all bundles. There’s probably something for everyone but shooter fans in there; get in before April 22 to capitalise. In addition, AI War is part of the GamersGate’s IndieFort Spring Bundle. Arcen Games told us that the sale and bundle are important because the team has already moved on to two new projects – Skyward Collapse and Exodus of the Machine.

Arcen Games’ latest, Shattered Haven, has gone into beta, meaning everyone who pre-orders will now have access to the latest build. The $10 top-down survival adventure title is 25% off during its beta period, which will run until March 18, when version 1.0 is due to launch. If you bought the first version of indie side-scroller A Valley Without Wind, you’ll be pleased to learn you’re now in possession of the vastly-improved follow-up.

A Valley Without Wind is a rather lovely indie title from Arcen Games. It’s a Metroid-vania platform title with retro visuals and tons of weapons. It’s getting a sequel, and if you already own the original, you get the new game for free.

Shattered Haven is described as a “Top-Down, 2D, Action-Adventure, Mildly-Rougelikeish Game” by developer Arcen Games. It’s dark, pixelated and brooding. It could be your retrofied answer to the Fallout series. Check out the PC trailer below.
