Analyst expects Sony to cut the price of PS3 next week
Industry analyst Michael Pachter expects Sony to announce a price-cut for PS3 next week along with the announcement of a new console. According to Pachter, the a price-cut should go into effect on “February 21st,” and he expects it to hit somewhere around the $199 mark. Wii U only moving 1.2 games per console – analyst
Wii U is moving 1.2 games per system sold, according to Longbow Research analyst James Hardiman, down from two games sold per console when Wii was first introduced in 2006. Hardiman gleaned his figures from the latest NPD report, via GI International, and believes the lower than expects units numbers derive from one of two things: the inclusion of NintendoLand with the Wii U Deluxe version; or the console price left consumers’ wallets a bit too empty to purchase more than one title. Most analysts tend to agree, though, that the console will continue to sell well into spring 2013. Beyond summer, even the analysts are unsure.

Borderlands 2 selling ahead of expectations amid worries over T2 stock – analyst
Borderlands 2 is selling “in line to slightly ahead of expectations,” since it launched on Tuesday, September 18 in the US, according to Robert W.
