SimCity will not require always-on connection, no mod support at launch
EA Maxis has confirmed to SimCity will be sold on digital distribution platforms other than Origin, but the game will still require players log on to EA’s service to register the game. It has also said there won’t be mod support for the game, at least at launch.

Depth is a multiplayer game about divers vs sharks, GDC video posted
A video for the UDK-developed Depth was released during GDC, and it’s posted below. The indie game, developed by a team of super-modders, is an aquatic stealth game where you are a diver looking for treasure while floating around in the pretty ocean wearing scuba gear. If that sounds snooze inducing to you, why not try your hand at playing a shark instead? Yeah. That’s sounds about right, doesn’t it? Plus, it’s multiplayer.
