Calling All Units is now available for The Crew along with new level cap

Consider this a friendly reminder that Calling All Units, the second expansion for The Crew, is now available.

It contains a new storyline where players take on the role of an elite cop named Clara Washington, tasked with taking down illegal street racers nationwide.

If playing a police officer isn't your cup of tea, you can choose the other side of the law as one of the racers. You can even team up with others in a crew in this "police-chase" fantasy, Smokey and the Bandit style if you will. Only with a crew. And no semi trucks. Okay, so not really reminiscent of Smokey and the Bandit. Still, police are chasing you across the US. Maybe more like The Cannonball Run, then.

Anyway, 70s and 80s driving movies with Burt Reynolds aside, the content also contains 12 new missions, fully-equipped police vehicles and the ability to collect new parts, vehicles and XP. Players can even pick a side, or swap at will.

As a member of the police force, access to a wide range of cop vehicles will be available. These range from supercars to heavy off-roaders and monster trucks. Chases can be triggered anytime, anyplace on the map, which will add to the unpredictable nature of the content in the open-world environment.

Also, all The Crew players will have complete access to the street racer gameplay, including special abilities such as unlimited nitro and blinding flashbangs, as well as the new level 60 cap and the matching performance boost.

The Crew: Calling All Units is out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One today.
