The Division glitch allows players to stack headshot damage indefinitely - being fixed tomorrow

The Division will go offline one again this week in order to fix a glitch allowing an indefinite stack bonus.

Massive said it will take The Division offline tomorrow, July 22, for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Earlier today the game went offline for a period, with an expected maintenance to last around 3.5 hours. Massive has been working to fix various issues in the game, doing do, the game has experienced downtime for around 7.5 hours the last seven days.

According to the developers, the issue being fixed tomorrow pertains to players benefiting from the DeadEye four set bonus while retaining headshot damage. Players were also able to stack bonus headshot damage indefinitely, so expect this to no longer apply once the game is back up.

This is something many Division players will be pleased to hear, as folks have been clamoring for the issue to be fixed.

The servers will be inaccessible tomorrow starting at 8am UU/3am ET/12am PT and will remain so until the fix is applied.
