Civilization 6 video takes a look Builders which have replaced Workers

In Civilization 6, players will be able to make their land better by using Builders.

The video above gives us the first look at the Builders, which have replaced Workers from previous Civilization games.

In prior games, improvements were made by the Workers and it took multiple turns to construct. Builders are a civilian unit which the player builds in their cities. They will have a number of charges before they disband.

Most have three charges, which means the players can use them three times to build an improvement. Players will need to plan carefully when choosing when to use the Builders and which improvements to create.

The good thing though, is Builders make these improvements instantly. The player will no longer need to wait on multiple turns for construction to finish as with Workers.

Civilization 6 players will also have to carefully choose where they build expansions, as tiles on the map have become more important than ever.

Give the video above a watch to learn more about Builders, and if you want more information, Alex Donaldson posted his impressions of the game after playing around with it at E3 2016. You can give that a read through the link.

Civilization 6 is available for pre-order now and will be released worldwide on October 21 for $59.99/£49.99/€59.99.
