Killing Floor 2 gets PvP versus mode and new map in free update

The latest update to Killing Floor 2 has brought some pretty substantial additions to the game. Called Revenge of the Zeds, the update allows players for the first time to take control of the Zeds, the game's enemies.

This is done through the new Versus Survival mode, which lets you play as any one of ten specimens, including the Fleshpound, the Stalker, and even the Patriarch.

Revenge of the Zeds also adds the new Prison man, alongside the level action rifle (Winchester) and a crossbow. These weapons are not can be played with any of the perks.

Developer Tripwire said that it's still working on adding the Sharpshooter perk in a future update.

The update is free to all owners of the Killing Floor 2, which is currently on sale for 33 percent off.
