Life is Strange fans want a sequel so much they made a Kickstarter campaign

Fans of Life is Strange are demanding a sequel, going as far as creating a Kickstarter campaign for it.

Filed under the long list of weird/funny/terrible crowdfunding campaigns for video games, today's Kickstarter campaign is raising money for a Life is Strange sequel.

The Life is Strange 2 campaign is obviously not official. Instead, it was started by Kate Marsh a few days ago, with the aim to raise $20,000.

However, unlike that Star Wars open-world RPG Kickstarter, this campaign is not trying to scam people for their money. Instead, it's an attempt to get developer Dontnod to recognise the fans' eagerness for a sequel, and ideally give the studio the funds needed for the project.

However, if this doesn't work, the person behind the campaign is prepared to use the money to buy the IP and task another studio with making the sequel.

It all would be pretty amazing, if it weren't for the fact that it's just been cancelled.

Neither Square nor Dontnod have officially announced a sequel to Life is Strange just yet. Dontnod, however, is working on Vampyr, the vampire adventure game.
