Metal Gear Online officially launches on Steam

Metal Gear Solid 5 players on PC are now able to shoot each other in the face in Metal Gear Online.

Konami has announced Metal Gear Online is now available to all owners of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain on PC. The competitive online component entered beta just last week, and it appears it's now ready for primetime.

The issues that resulted in Konami taking the beta offline one day after becoming available have also been fixed.

Konami promised to continue updating the game after launch, just like the console version. In addition, if you play at least one match between January 19 and 26, you'll be rewarded with 3000 Gear Points (GP).
