Jeremy Irons and Brendan Gleeson have signed on to star in the Assassin’s Creed film.

According to Deadline, Irons will play the father of Marion Cotillard, whose role in the film is still to be disclosed.

Gleeson (Alastor 'Mad-Eye' Moody in the Harry potter films) will play the father of Callum Lynch, who will be portrayed by Michael Fassbender. It is unknown if he plays his father in the modern-day segments, or in the memories of Lynch's 15th century Spanish ancestor, Aguilar.

Michael Kenneth Williams will also star in the film.

The Assassin's Creed film is currently in production and will land in theaters December 21, 2016.
