A patch brings a new god and spectator mode to Smite on Xbox One

A new patch has expanded the Xbox One version of Smite, adding a new character and the option to spectate matches.

The new god is Khepri, whose defensive abilities can protect players on his team. The season ticket is another new addition, allowing you various new methods of accruing fantasy points. There are a whole heap of updates, actually: the Xbox One version isn't quite feature-complete with the PC version, but it seems as though Hi-Rez Studios are paying attention to what works and what needs changing.

The spectator mode introduced in this patch will allow you to watch your friends play, although right now it only supports live matches. A later patch will introduce the ability to revisit recorded matches.

Here's a full trailer outlining all the changes.
