Obsidian Entertainment plans to release a Pillars of Eternity patch next week to combat issues users have reported.

Until the patch is released, the developers have posted workarounds for some of the most common issues.

The issues reported span framerate drops, inability to launch the game unless in administrator mode, crashes on 32-bit machines, animal companions becoming stuck or invisible SFX repeating, constant delays for VO, music, and inventory, inability save and more.

Patch 1.03 is expected to be released the week of March 30, and to have a look at workarounds, you should head over to the forums.

There is also an FAQ posted and a thread available to post issues which may or may not already be listed.

Pillars of Eternity was released earlier this week on Linux, Mac and PC to positive reviews.

Thanks, Blue.
