Ubisoft expects Far Cry 4 and The Crew to sell 2 million and 6 million units, respectively

During its call to investors this afternoon, Ubisoft revealed how many units it expects to sell of The Crew and Far Cry 4.

According to the firm, it hopes its racer The Crew will move 2 million units, and Far Cry 4 over 6 million copies - in each game's first year.

GI International noted FC4's predecessor Far Cry 3 sold 6 million units its first year on the market, and and lifetime sales have hit 10 million units.

Ubisoft also provided extra color on its sales for first-half of its FY15, and you have a look at those below.

You will notice for the reporting period, the majority of sales for the company came from Europe, with North America not far behind.

The highest grossing platform for the firm was PlayStation 4 followed by PlayStation 3. Surely this can be attributed to timed exclusivity deals with Sony and pre-order bonuses.

PC was the next highest grossing platform for Ubisoft, followed by Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii and Wii U, respectively.

If you look over slide three, you will note a fluctuation in sales percentages for each platform, quarterly and year-over-year.

Ubisoft also announced today that Watch Dogs had shipped 9 million units.
