You won't be able to decapitate enemies in Assassin's Creed Unity

It's been confirmed that players will not be able to decapitate enemies in Assassin's Creed Unity in-game.

Trailers (and Rob Zombies animated short) for the upcoming Ubisoft game have focused heavily on decapitation, guillotines and heads on sticks, but all that will be limited to cutscenes, according to lead actor Dan Jeannotte.

"The marketing guys are telling me "no, no it is not possible."," he told fans on Twitter when asked about decapitating enemies.

Jeanette plays the role of new protagonist Arno Dorian, a character he describes as "very sharp and sarcastic, which sets him apart. He's a very independent and a critical thinker, questioning the motives and methods of authority."

Here he is in real life with some sweet Assassin's Creed Unity limited edition art.
