Mortal Kombat X developer NetherRealm Studios has opened the floodgates on pre-orders, along with some new pieces of Scorpion artwork. Yep, he still looks has hard as a brick shit-house.

We’ve also got the Mortal Kombat X reveal trailer and box art for you to check out too.

You’ll find the Mortal Kombat X pre-order page here, and after clicking you’ll be met with a ghastly image of Scorpin staring at you with his dead eyes, along with links to participating retailers.

It’s out in 2015 – in fact, Amazon says June 30 that year – which is a while away yet of course, but the studio dropped this little snippet to tide you over:

Fueled by next-gen technology, Mortal Kombat X combines unparalleled, cinematic presentation with all new gameplay to deliver the most brutal Kombat experience ever. For the first time ever, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style.

And with a new fully-connected gameplay experience, players are launched into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy.

Here’s the new artwork:

We also hear Kiefer Sutherland is in it.

Scorpion is a total dude. I always liked Kung Lao though. His MK9 Fatality was ludicrous.

@Dave Cook The one with hat on the ground as buzzsaw was cringe inducing in all the right ways.

Hope they bring him back from the dead in story mode. Never cared about Liu Kang but Lao was the man (Also the best and most fun character in MK Shaolin Monks).
