Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby look set to be followed by Delta Emerald, if Nintendo’s latest trademark filing is anything to go by.

Pokemon Emerald

It follows this Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby footage of Groudon and Kryogre doing their thing on 3DS. Both remakes are out in November.

Now, Gematsu reports that Nintendo’s “Delta Emerald” trademark was filed on May and went public May 29.

Pokemon Emerald was the third GBA entry to the series behind Sapphire and Ruby, but Nintendo has yet to announce a remake of the game.

Of course it is! But now they have three versions of essentially the same game (moar money!) and now i can pick the definitive edition if it is launching within the same timeframe.

Such a great piece of news. Emerald is my favorite flavor of the third Pokemon generation. I just hope to see it released in November as well.
