Star Wars 1313: new art from scrapped project surfaces, appears to show Hoth

Star Wars 1313 is as dead as Hayden Christensen’s career, but that hasn’t stopped a new batch of unreleased concept art surfacing out of the trash compactor.

Some of the art in this new drop is old. We reported on it here, but you should still check it out if you’re a Star Wars fan. It gives a glimpse of the Boba Fett adventure that never was.

Here are the new pieces of art, via CVG, as created by senior concept designer Gustavo Mendonca.

    The artwork does look nice.
The game itself was another cover shooter with no point. I continue to be glad that Disney murdered it in its sleep.
A bit pissed they made Katarn non canon, but then again, neither is The Force Unleashed.

    really wish this was made.

It is about time for a new Star Wars Single Player experience like Kotor or Jedi Academy.
and since 3rd Person shooters are all the rage these days, something like this will surely come

@1 You’re spot on, they did us a favour – Star Wars didn’t need another average game, pretty graphics or otherwise.

@Edo And I’m sad you still fall for this again and again and again.

Does this need to be shown every time you log on to the internet?

It was just another cover shooter, in which Lucas(the man himself) stuffed Boba Fett at the last minute, because he wanted to, with the dev team having no say in it. If the game actually had anything to it, ANYTHING, they would have not demoed scripted sequences, a cover shooting segment, and platforming segment. Even The Force Unleashed had more going for it. Had it had the graphics of something like Cognition, you would have all wondered what was that crap.

@unacomn The Star Wars EU was never ever ever ever canon. Disney merely made very publicly known what was always the policy of Lucasfilm forever: Everything that isn’t the film or television is canon until we make a movie or television show that contradicts it.

This has literally been the policy since Episode 4 was originally released.

No one screamed about EU canon when the Clone Wars shat all over Karen Traviss’ work on Mandalorian culture, but the same policy applied then as it does now.

I wish fanboys would wake up and realize that their beloved EU has had its head on the chopping block for over 40 years now.
