Ubisoft confirms E3 media briefing date

Monday, 14th April 2014 16:37 GMT By Matt Martin

Assassin’s Creed publisher Ubisoft has invited press to its E3 Media Briefing, taking place Monday June 9.

The event kicks off at 3pm LA time and is likely to livestreamed – we’ll have a team on site to bring all the announcements as they happen.

The publisher is likely to show off Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Comet, as well as more from other projects in development including The Crew and Tom Clancy’s The Division.

Ubisoft has a great track record of revealing new IP during E3 and moving to become an early adopter of hardware, so expect a handful of genuine surprises, and quite possibly some mad shit like Battle Tag.

Can you say “Beyond Good & Evil 2″?

We. Are. Pumped.

I can’t wait for E3 in general, it’s like Xmas for gaming, with all of these new announcements & so many surprises.

Considering this is the 1st year that all 3 8th gen consoles are actually out, developers have been quite for a while, we should see many new 3rd party games, with new IPs, sequels & remakes.
1st party developers will no doubt have lots of new gems to announce.

Now that all 3 systems are out there’s reason for them all to compete for our hard earned cash & actually bring games after games.

I’m excited to see what Ubisoft brings, would like to see more of The Division & hopefully a locked down release date.

    Role on June!

I wonder what will be this year’s inevitable downgradable (not a word) game for show? Far Cry 4? As with Far Cry 3.

@Game Hunter they have been doing it for awhile and people are to fucking dumb to realise (not general consumers but people on the net who watch e3) I can bet you all the games they announce will have some form of climbing, being able to mark enemys and a shit load of mocap animations

    @POOhead

They have their own Mocap studio just like Naughty Dog and majority of other studios use Mocap. Don’t see you getting pissed at them either in fact you should just stop gaming altogether.

One can only hope Sony, MS and Nintendo (while I think they’re going to stick with Nintendo Direct) will bring the big guns to this year E3.

Because the last 3 E3s were pretty wack.

    Far Cry 4
    AC Unity
    The Crew
    The Division

I am not even gonna expect Rainbow Six anymore after it went back to the drawing board three times. I SO want them to finally give a real release date for R6 Patriots, but it is best to not expect anything to avoid disappointment. Same with BG&E.
