Eve Online's biggest battle resulted in over $200,000 in damages

Eve Online is known for its big battles and high-cost defeats, but last night, some 2,000 players took part in an online war with real-world damage costs reaching over $200,000.

The battle saw many corporations getting involved and is said to have claimed over 70 Titan-class ships. The most valuable ship to fall was said to be worth $5,000 in real-world money.

The s**t-storm kicked off when Nulli Secunda and Pandemic Legion lost their hold on sector B-R5RB, giving rival corporation RUS a window to muscle its way in, backed up by the notorious Clusterfuck Coalition.
