Deep Down has received a solitary PS4 screen, courtesy of Capcom. It shows a knight in full about to get battered by a hulking spider.

It follows these three Deep Down PS4 screens, showing off new monster types and a portal.

The new shot comes from Famitsu and looks like this:

This game look awesome and if it plays like Dark Souls or Dragon’s Dogma (which avtually is from Capcom, too), it might be really awesome.

BUT I don’t like the fact, that Dungeons are randomly generated and the Assassins Creeds twist of having a seemingly medieval (in this case more like high-fantasy) game, that is actually playing in the near future and you just jump back via some super-sci-fy-machine is turning me down alot. It was nothing, I enjoyed in AC and I don’t like it for this one.

Maybe the game will still be good. But after the really good first impression, it got less interesting.

Online only killed it for me, not to mention the free to play
buisness model as well as randomly generated dungeons
and forced co’op, not my cup of tea, but i’m sure a community
will flourish so long as the micro payments dont get out of
