Dragon Age: Inquisition concept art shows diverse landscapes

Thursday, 9th January 2014 23:29 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Dragon Age: Inquisition’s environments include a sunken ancient elven city; a gloomy, mossy forest; and an enormous, shattered bridge.

The piece of art showing what seems to be a submerged city was accompanied by a bit of text released on social networks. Game Informer gathered it up:

“Here lies the abyss, the well of all souls. From these emerald waters doth life begin anew. And thus was mighty Arlathan cast down, its people swallowed by darkness – never to rise again.”

The other two pieces were released over the holidays, but we hadn’t posted them yet, so take a look.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is expected on PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One later this year.

That bridge reminds me of the Imperial Highway on DA:O (the road that runs alongside Lothering.
