Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold was released in Japanese arcades today, and a YouTube user has already posted the opening clip. Developed by Arc System Works, the sequel to Persona 4 Arena will be release on PS3 in Japan during summer 2014. A western release has not been announced. Thanks, Gematsu.

What is it with Japanese Developers and their inability to create fighting games with proper names?!

I mean what the fuck is this? Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold? Seriously? That’s as dumb as “Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha” or “Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike – Fight for the Future – Online Edition” or “Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-” or “Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus”.

Just stop it. Use numbers for fucks sake.

If the names wouldn’t be long, cool and awkward, they wouldn’t look properly on all of those shiny arcade machines.

“Persona 4: Arena 2″ looks lame compared to “Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold”.
