XCOM: Enemy Unknown and its DLC can be picked up on the cheap through Amazon US

Saturday, 7th September 2013 14:51 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Those in the US looking for a gaming deal this weekend should head over to Amazon and digitally download XCOM: Enemy Unknown if they don’t already own it. The game along with the Elite Soldier and Slingshot DLC can be had for a mere $10. XCOM’s Enemy Within expansion is coming out on November 12, and it will run you $30 by itself, so this is a bargain, and comparable to the $40 Commander Edition coming to PS3 and Xbox 360. Thanks, Joystiq.

    Oh come on guys.

You could get this, all the other XCOM’s, Spec Ops: The Line and The Bureau for less than £20 from green man gaming.

    Do deals right or don’t bother guys… I mean, there’s always http://savygamer.co.uk/ .

Anyway, rant over. Just saying there are better deals out there. $10 isn’t that fantastic when you can get so many games for a little more…

@1 I post them when I see them as we don’t have a dedicated sales finder on here like some sites do. It’s a full time job in and of itself and one none of us have time to do full time as stated.

“Do deals right or don’t bother guys…” Alright then.

@2: My point was that VG247 is not a deals website. It’s a video game news website. If people want deals information they will go to hotukdeals or one of their local forum threads on NeoGAF or something.

Sorry, I didn’t mean to come across ungrateful. I just feel like, as you say, you have a full time job and this is a distraction you can ill afford.

@3: Spec Ops is a good deal, as is any recent release for <£20. There's nothing inherently wrong with the rest of XCOM, and the recent release is based on it.
