The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD download requires 2.6gb of memory

Hyrule is a big place, and that’ll be reflected in a 2.6gb memory requirement if you download the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD from the Nintendo eShop.

It’s a fairly modest requirement, especially when compared with most other modern titles. With its new HD polish the game is looking better than ever, so it should be worth every single kilobyte.

It has also been confirmed that the game will render in 1080p, that surround sound is an option, and that you can use a pro-controller if you wish.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD launches worldwide in October.

Thanks, Nintendo Life.

Thats pretty small for such a large game. The Gamecube discs held 1.5GB of data so say that the GC version filled that up that means that this HD version with better graphics and lighting and a reworked triforce section at the end is not even double the size of the original?? That compression much be epic!

Probably wont have space for that on my WiiU basic since I already have Ducktales installed.
