The Arma 3 beta has been updated, and according to Bohemia Interactive, the ‘APC Package’ adds the BTR-K Kamysh and IFV-6c Panther, while the integration of BattlEye (BE) to improve the Beta’s multiplayer experience.

The first vehicle in the APC Package, the OPFOR’s BTR-K Kamysh, serves as a “prime example of first-class Russian engineering,” and The Kamysh is equipped with a CTWS turret fitted with a 30mm cannon, coaxial machinegun and 2 guided AT missiles, making the vehicle “significant in the infantry support role.”

The IFV-6c Panther has strong armor for maximal protection and a standard Panther is armed with a RCWS HMG, 40mm grenade machine gun and smoke flares. They can take up to eight soldiers for a ride in the cargo area.

Also included, as mentioned above, is BattlEye – the anti-cheat software developed by BattlEye Innovations. The anti-cheat software helps server hosts detect and respond to multiplayer hacks.

The beta updates automatically via Steam and the complete changelog can be found on the official Arma 3 website.

To participate in the ongoing Arma 3 beta, as previously reported, you can purchase access through Steam or through the Bohemia Store.

I wish they’d release some more showcases though so we could try this new stuff out without having to create our own missions.

ArmA 3 is slick as fuck right now. Beta is working so good. I think they can launch the game right now.

@2 Or just join MP game and play around with these? 99% of mods will implement these into them within this week.

@4 Yea that’s true. I’ve honestly been having more fun in SP/CO-OP though. MP feels very sluggish (FPS drops from 60 to 30 or less most of the time, at least after a while) and some people who play online are such trolls.

@3 I agree it’s running beautifully especially compared to Arma 2. But I doubt they’re finished with Altis and the campaign missions.
