Warframe trailer celebrates PlayStation 4 launch

Thursday, 6th June 2013 01:12 GMT By Brenna Hillier

Warframe is coming to PlayStation 4 as a launch title, with Digital Extremes describing the porting process and hardware as “awesome”. See how the worked-over co-op shooter looks with the new console’s grunt behind it in the debut trailer through the break.

Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Digital Extremes revealed the free-to-play, procedurally generated third person shooter will be on show at E3 next week.

The post also explained yesterday’s mysterious reference to the Dual Shock 4′s unique features.

“Right now, we’re using the touch pad to activate your crazy Warframe powers on the run with a flick of your thumb or finger. Want to lunge and smash with your Rhino Warframe? Swipe your thumb up on the touch pad and you’ll charge like a battering ram into a group of helpless enemies,” project lead Steve Sinclair said.

Warframe is really good 3rd person hack and slash game that is F2P. Don’t judge before you have tested it.

@5 Umm.. it’s already been on the PC for a year. So that kinda negates your PS4 Exclusive doesn’t it?

As for the games, its good for a quick 30 minute blast, but it’s very grindy

this is why Unreal Tournament games were badass, because of Digital Extremes, not because of Epic Games.
