Phantasy Star Online has accumulated 500,000 players on Vita, Sega has announced. The MMORPG opened its doors on the portable console in February, Siliconera reminds us, so it’s managed this feat in just over three months. Vita players are being rewarded with an item which increases money, XP and item drops for 30 minutes. Phantasy Star Online 2 has not been announced for western release. It’s also available on PC and is coming to mobiles.

When the hell are they bringing this to the West. I refuse to buy a vita till it does.

Never. Because Sega rather wastes money on a iOS/Droid port than a translation.

I used to spent countless, COUNTLESS hours playing the offline-mode on the Dreamcast. Unfortunately (for me) the current chapter doesn’t contain an offline option. So, if they will bring it to the West…

Not a fan of the way this game is being handled either.

Civ and PSO are my fav games of all time. I really want it out in the west.

@3 Even before that. They never released the DLC or PSP2:Infinity over here either. Oh and PSP2 wont run on a Vita.

They have to bring it to the West.
Maybe they will, they’ll just take ridiculous time to do so.
