Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance developer Platinum Games will release its second playable boss DLC on May 9, this time starring Raiden’s four-legged pal Blade Wolf.

The release date comes from AGB, but no formats or official confirmation were included, so treat the date as rumour for now. But what we can show you concretely are these gameplay screens. Enjoy.

Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit, it looks like they actually bothered to include a new enemy! Unbelievable!

Any predictions on when we’re likely to see a GOTY edition?

I want this game, but I don’t mind waiting.

GOTY edition? Its amazing but its hardly GOTY material like Bioshock infinite or Tomb Raider. You will see an complete edition when DLC support ends.

    COMPLETE edition rather. Thanks.

I’ll wait for the complete edition, thank you very much!

I’d be more interested in some Mistral DLC, but a Blade Wolf is fine too. Plus Mistral will be in it, so cool.

Hey, if Dead Island can get a GOTY edition (especially considering it came out 2011), any game can.

GOTY edition is just a fancier way of calling a Complete edition, even though the game wasn’t GOTY in any rate (at least on VGA)

I’m excited. The Sam DLC was a lot better than I thought it’d be. I especially liked how different Sam plays from Raiden.
