CD Projekt RED: “We’re thinking about something” involving multiplayer for The Witcher 3
Eurogamer has a massive interview feature talking with CD Projekt RED’s Adam Badowski about, what else, The Witcher 3. And, of course, writer Robert Purchese had to ask about the possibility of multiplayer in that game. Surprisingly, the idea was not dismissed out of hand.
“We’re thinking about something,” Badowski told them, “but I cannot explain it now. You can expect some information later on. Sorry for that!”
The Witcher 3 is still a long way’s out — it’s a PS4 title, after all — and so we should expect them to hold some stuff close to the vest for a while. But, yes, there may be some sort of multiplayer aspect in The Witcher 3, and that is most intriguing.

I really hope it’s something ridiculously small that doesn’t take too much precious time away from the singleplayer. They have a lot on their checklist. The last RPG that desperately wanted to have a multiplayer in it was Mass Effect 3 and we all know how that turned out.

If it is some interesting interaction from other players that you will see while playing the game I am for it.
But if it’s just some dumb PvP multiplayer where you run around trying to kill each other I am not.

Frakin quit with your retarded multiplayer everywhere already ffs!! I’m sick of Halo’s and other SINGLE PLAYER GAMES being barely 5 hrs long because you want to satisfy 12 yo retards with whole school of “pals”. I want a good, nice, long single player campaign!
